Anthony Gismondi on Wine

You still have a few days to pick up tickets and join us for dinner with Winemaker Mark Beringer, the great, great grandson of Jacob Beringer, at Glowbal Telus Gardens.

Tickets are $150 per person, taxes, fees and gratuities included. It should be a great night. Treve is off to Hawaii next week for the Kapalua Wine & Food Festival, while my co-head judge David Lawrason and I prepare for the 2018 Wine Align National Wine Awards, Canada’s largest competition for 100 percent Canadian grown wines. It all gets underway June 18 in Penticton, in the heart of the Okanagan Valley, with what looks to be another record number of entries. Meanwhile on the tasting table we have worked our way through dozens of rosés including our Top 10 BC Rosés to date. Earlier this week we published reviews for recently tasted sparkling rosés, and this week's Top 10 will be on international rosés. On July 1, fittingly, we will release the second part of our Canadian rosé reveiws - they just keep flooding in. Be sure to check out our daily notes at http://www.gismondionwine.com/tasting-notes/.
