Anthony Gismondi on Wine

We took to the opportunity to catch up with a diverse selection of wine folks at the recent annual Lifford Grand Tasting at the beautifully renovated Stanley Park Pavilion near the park’s famed Rose Garden.

In all we selected 18 wines, one from each producer, who hailed from as far away as Patagonia, Argentina, and we asked them to tell British Columbians the story behind the wine in about 30 seconds.

It proved to be a very entertaining afternoon and we captured it all on video. We used this opportunity to review the wines as well and launch our new points seals and the concept of identifying the very best wines at all price points with a Real Wine designation. We'll be launching an article on GOW in the coming days explaining what the real wine concept is all about ,when we launch the system live in our regular tasting notes.

We've included the price and CSPC number so you can find or order the wines through your local private wine shop, or, if you are lucky, you will find some of them in government stores.
