Treve is back in London judging at the IWC and I’m on my way to the south Okanagan Valley for the season opening, broadcast of the Best of Food and Wine’s Grape Escape at Hester Creek, Saturday morning at 11am. Winery interviews will include La Stella, Le Vieux Pin, Tinhorn Creek, Bartier Brothers, Road 13, Clos du Soleil, Osoyoos Larose and C.C. Jentsch and our hosts, Hester Creek and Terrafina.  Our Cheese Dream this week is L ‘Edel de Cleron, our Top Ten features Argentine malbec with riesling on deck. After that I’ll be in Santiago, Chile for a few days before we all return for the big The Great New Zealand Wine Tiki Tour May 4.
