Napa Valley, California, United StatesThe KJ Stature experiments are complete and the final product beginning in 2001 will be a blended wine as opposed to the single cabernet sauvignon varietal of the past. Look for an intense peppery, chocolate pudding nose streaked with clove, licorice, blackberry jam and black cherry aroma. It's rich, round and concentrated on the palate with smooth, grainy tannins and more chocolate pudding, vanilla, cassis, black cherry, orange rind and peppery, licorice flavours. Good intensity, long, and still quite youthful.
