Antinori Tignanello 2007

Tuscany, ItalyClassic Tuscan styling with peppery, meaty, tobacco, black cherry, and black olive and cassis notes flecked with herbal, barnyard, floral, vanilla, menthol and saddle leather aromas. Full, ripe, round and rich on the palate with ripe grainy tannins and surprisingly juicy acidity. Black cherry, cassis, peppery, vanilla, meaty, smoky, tobacco, cranberry, leather, liquorice, mocha flavours. Young and well balanced with fine potential to age, needs 5-7 years to really shine. One of the best yet. Made with predominately sangiovese with parts of cabernet sauvignon and now cabernet franc.Tasted: 15 November 2010Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
