Moon Curser Dead of the Night 2009

Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaRecently retasted (one year later) and still round and full with an intense plum/cherry nose and underlying savoury, vanilla, tobacco, coffee notes. The attack is dry, the textures supple with fresh acidity and a rich peppery, tobacco, meaty, smoky, cherry jam and savoury flavours. It finishes warm with solid fruit and some young acidity. Good effort that is big warm and rich. Not cheap.Tasted: 15 October 2012Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
