Sonoma Coast, Sonoma County, California, United StatesLa Crema Sonoma Coast chard is comes off a bunch of cool vineyard sites planted to a mix of clones that include Clone 4, Dijon, Robert Young, 809, Rued and Wente. Some 95 per cent of the juice is barreled and fermented in French oak (just over 20 percent is new) and it all goes through malolactic fermentation. Expect a fresh citrus honey nose with a touch of lees. The textures are creamy and smooth with more intense, juicy red apple, baked apple, pineapple flavours.
