Tantalus Pinot Noir 2011

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaExpect a deep dark cherry colour. The nose is has a toasted oak edge with vanilla, black cherry, bramble berry, celery salt aroma with a cool floral undertone. The attack is full, round, dry and fresh with light, lean-ish tannins. Moore cool pepper, worsteshire, cherry, raspberry, cedar flavours with bits of tobacco leaf and smoke mark the finish. This needs a bit of time in bottle to settle down the slightly astringent tannins or served it with duck confit or duck pate now.Tasted: 26 March 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
