Rheinhessen, GermanyFritz Hasselbach's riesling originates from the Rheinhessen. The site near Nackenheim is known as the 'Roter Hang,' or red hill. The 2012 is a nice step up from the previous release with its bright citrus and tropical fruit aromas. White peach and minerals carry its juicy palate that finishes off-dry with bits of baked apple and honey. A fun sipping style for all occasions and most foods.
