McGuigan Wines Bin 9000 Semillon 2014

Hunter, New South Wales, AustraliaThis was specifically crafted to be approachable and ready to drink now in its youth. The winery ferments at higher temperatures using pressure tanks (as is used for Charmat wines) to increase saturation of CO2, lower the pH and raise the acidity. Apricot and peach blossom aromas with a tempering peach pit bitterness. The juicy palate shows lime, green hedge, baby powder, light soap, lees and pink grapefruit tinged acidity. Finishes sweeter and muscat-y. A bit gangly in its youth, pour with Thai or Vietnamese dishes.Tasted: 07 February 2015Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
