Margaret River, Western Australia, AustraliaBottle age has benefitted this cabernet sauvignon from Margaret River, time softening the power punch of this concentrated wine in youth. Not that this is a subtle example now, mind. Deep plum, blackberry, dusty earth, light eucalyptus nose. The dense palate carries dried blackcurrant, prune plum, dusty cocoa and black cherry. Tannins still on the muscular side, finishing with astringency.
