Weather you enjoy this ready-to-drink big Bordeaux-styled red now with roast beef or lie it down for a couple of years, this vintage is another winning investment. Ripe cassis, sweet plum and earthy bramble aromas carry through to a satisfyingly layered medium-full bodied palate. Fresh, brambled cassis, ripe plum, cracked peppercorn, tart cherry and cinnamon bark are reined in by youthful grippy tannins that should relax with time. Subtle vanilla oak and bitter espresso hits on the juicy, lingering finish.
