Valle del Cachapoal, Valle del Rapel, Region del Valle Central, ChileRoasted earth, resin and blackberry bush scents introduce this carmenère, grenache, merlot blend. Potent blue fruits join in on the full bodied, fruit forward palate, along with ripe cassis, roasted coffee, plum jam, tar, black liquorice and light smoke. Tannins are smooth and supple with a sticky finish, and though the alcohol clocks in at 13.5 percent, the wine ends with a bit of heat.
