Serendipity Winery Estate Syrah 2010

Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis is a huge wine - gobs of baked blackberry, dense cassis and a savoury wood-smoked steak sauce note. Black pepper, earth, stewed black fruits and plum on the muscular palate. The tannins feel a tad hard press and ragged, drying out the finish. Would benefit from decanting, allowing some air to permeate the density. Pour now with hearty grilled or stewed beef.Tasted: 19 March 2015Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
