Yalumba Barossa Patchwork Shiraz 2012

Barossa Valley, South Australia, AustraliaPatchwork, as its name suggests, is a blend of selected parcels across the Barossa. Deep and dark nose of berry compote, blackberry, anise, and perfumed blackberry. Very elegant notes of cassis, blackberry leaf, black plum, sand and eucalyptus on the medium bodied, softly cushioned mid palate. Ripe tannins feel lightly powdery on the finish along with a bit of a wood grip and lick of mint. American, French and Hungarian oak in use here. Pour with roasted lamb.Tasted: 01 April 2015Tasted by: Prices:
