Fort Berens Pinot Gris 2013

British Columbia, CanadaFrom the outback (for wine anyway) of Lillooet comes this light/medium bodied white. Light smoke, stone, pear blossom and a streak of herbaceous-ness leads to a thistle-filled bitter edged palate. White grapefruit pith, lemon juice, pear skin lead into a buttery finish. The whole is a bit disjointed and clunky - best to try this with light cream pastas.Tasted: 06 April 2015Tasted by: Prices:
