Fort Berens Cabernet Franc 2012

Lillooet, British Columbia, CanadaGravelly, savoury and ripe dark fruits at first whiff, followed by earthy cassis, walnuts and subtle brambles. The structured palate is textured with ripe black cherries, thorny cassis, cassis, tobacco, dark florals and dried herbs. Acidity is fresh and natural and the length considerable and tactile. This layered and complex wine reveals itself to you in stages - worth opening in advance and savouring over time, especially with grilled pork tenderloin. Enjoy now or 2-3 years time (would be longer if they lose the plastic cork).Tasted: 21 May 2015Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
