M. Chapoutier Hermitage Chante Alouette Blanc 2012

Southern Rhone, Rhone Valley, FranceA fully biodynamic product here and only 13.5% alcohol. Light gold colour with honey, baked pear, floral, vanilla, spicy lees, earthy, apricot skin and nut aromas. Ripe, rich, round, juicy and elegant yet with fine texture. Apricot, nutty, floral, honey, butter, lees, ginger, guava, pear and citrus flavours with a buttery, baked quince finish. Very flavourful yet delicate and round, drinking well now but could be good again in 10 years time. A bit lighter than previous vintage but very fine effort.Tasted: 22 May 2015Tasted by: Stuart TobePrices:
