Pierre Amadieu Gigondas Romane-Machotte Rouge 2012

Gigondas, Southern Rhone, Rhone Valley, FranceBig black pepper, savoury, smoky, meaty, black cherry, black berry, tobacco and licorice root aromas. Round, full, warm, suave and juicy palate with light tannins. Black cherry, peppery, meaty, plum, tobacco, garrigue, resin flavours. Good concentration and fruit with a slightly warm finish that is a touch rustic now but good with beef. Needs a year or so to integrate. Good intensity here.Tasted: 18 May 2015Tasted by: Stuart TobePrices:
