Symphony Vineyard Ortega 2014

Saanich Peninsula, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, CanadaThe grapes for this Saanich Peninsula ortega come from neighbouring Starling Lane Vineyard, and the grapes were offered to Symphony when the Starling Lane owners retired. Reductive at first crack of the cap, with airtime this shows peach fuzz, lemon thistle and bitter melon notes. The dry, juicy palate is dominated by herbed bitter melon, while potent peach, peach fuzz and tangerine pith mingle alongside. An Arcadian white, best enjoyed chilled on a patio alongside melon and prosciutto.Tasted: 19 May 2015Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
