Tantalus Riesling 2013

East Kelowna Slopes, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaOrange blossom, marmalade and river stone on first whiff, a standard-bearer for BC riesling and made up of vines up to 37 years old. This bigger boned riesling carries its fleshy fruit well. Honeycomb, mandarin, Seville orange, ripe peach and apricot pit spice are lifted by lime pulp juiciness and lime. There's a bit of a hole in the middle palate that time will easily fill; this can last and mature over the next decade and beyond.Tasted: 10 May 2015Tasted by: Prices:
