Tinhorn Creek Pinot Gris 2014

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAlways consistent, this year's Tinhorn pinot gris features its characteristic herbal grapefruit edged form. Bright orchard fruits rule the nose: pear, Asian pear, white peach and apple. A medium bodied, dry palate carries ripe pear, abundant honeyed spices, nectarine and white peach, with the crisp fruit holding form alongside creamy, fine lees. The pinot gris vines are between 17 and 19 years old, and their intensity, coupled with the southern Okanagan sunshine, is evident. Pear with grilled pork or halibut with pineapple salsa.Tasted: 30 June 2015Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
