Barossa Valley, South Australia, AustraliaRich big blackberry jam, smoky, coffee, chocolate nose laced with black licorice, roast beef, vanilla aromas with a touch of balsamic and gingerbread. Ripe, round, rich and suave with light tannins and some tart notes. More blueberry jam, coffee, licorice, savoury, blackberry jam, vanilla, ginger, balsamic and black pepper flavours. The finish is quite hot and tart with some rosemary and thyme notes. Very good fruit but balance is an issue.
