Painted Rock Syrah 2013

Skaha Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThere is marked difference in mid-valley syrah, more aromatic with black pepper, tobacco, smoky curry notes mixed with leather, light poultry, spice, black cherry coffee aromas. The attack is dry and fresh with elegant well managed light tannins. The palate brings more chocolate, coffee, pepper, vanilla, black cherry, celery salt, licorice and curry notes. Definitely a more suave style with good intensity but will still need two to four years to fully develop in the bottle.Tasted: 23 December 2015Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
