Drouhin Vaudon Chablis Premier Cru Vaillons 2013

Chablis, Burgundy, FranceA restrained style of Vaillons from a challenging vintage with brisk lemon, white asparagus and salted wild herbs. A lean 1er cru look for lively Asian pear, green fig and artichoke notes atop a thin cushion of unripe pear and light lees all straightened by a backbone of lemon rind acidity. Flake salt closes out the lingering finish, making it a choice pair for raw west coast oysters. Ready to drink now through 2018.Tasted: 21 March 2016Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Treve RingPrices:
