Elephant Island Stellaport NV

Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaStellaport is made from Stella cherries, picked extra-ripe and ultra-sweet. Its made using a solera system (in French oak) that dates a back to 2001 which explains the maderised cherry notes on the nose. A rich cassis and cocoa nose is followed by a velvet palate of jammy dark cherry, spice and dark chocolate. A heady, concentrated pour; the finish goes on and on and on.
