Signorello Seta 2013

Napa Valley, California, United StatesSeta is Italian for silk, whose texture is the impetus for the 58/42 sémillon/sauvignon blanc grown along the Silverado Trail in the Oak Knoll District. The fruit is dry farmed, the yields low and the resulting rich bunches are 100 percent barrel fermented adding more gravitas to the texture of this wine. The nose is a mix of vanilla, caramel and citrus with a touch of quince. The palate rich pear, marzipan and passion fruit notes. A fine match for richer fish recipes or whole-roasted chicken dishes.Tasted: 29 April 2016Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
