40 Knots Uncloaked Chardonnay 2015

Comox Valley, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, CanadaThe uncloaked name signifies that this Comox grown chardonnay hasn't seen time in barrel, instead preserving bright fruit through time in stainless steel. What you don't know from the label though is that it certainly has a close relationship with sugar, with a noticeable bump from an RS of 9.7. Mid-sweet, with lime candy, applesauce and pineapple dominant. Fine powdered cinnamon spices on the finish. A sweet/sour wine between sugar and crisp fruit.Tasted: 12 May 2016Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
