JoieFarm Pinot Blanc 2015

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom 27-year-old grapes on Kelowna's St. Hubertus Vineyard, this opens with perfumed nose of pear blossoms and gummies which carry through onto its light palate. Banana and candied rose petals dominate what is a short and sweet palate with a snappy, finish. It was a challenging year (hot, with the earliest vintage on record) and you can feel the ripeness but kudos to JoieFarm for not doctoring their wines with acidulation or dilution or other unnatural winemaking tricks. Ready to drink think spicy foods.Tasted: 24 May 2016Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Treve RingPrices:
