Emilia-Romagna, ItalyBorgo dei Guidi hails from the IGT Rosso Forlì IGT mixing 70/15/15 sangiovese, cabernet and merlot. The wine is soft and round reflecting the clay soils it is grown on. The fruit is bright with blackberry and licorice flavours with a thread of red fruit and acidity in the back end. The fruit is left to hang on the vine and extra month giving the wine a richer concentrated. Clean and fresh and delicious.
