McLaren Vale, South Australia, AustraliaI don’t know about sexy but rich and opulent yes. You feel the power and linear character of cabernet on entry and some grippy tannins ye to disperse in the back end. In between lots of floral black fruit flavours with blueberries, cassis and cocoa. The ferment is done in traditional open fermenters followed by 14 months ageing in French oak hogsheads. This needs another three years in bottle to open up and will easily hold a decade.
