Unsworth Vineyards Petit Milo Vintners Selection 2015

Cowichan Valley, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, CanadaPoor petit milo. Such a strange name for a tasty grape. This Blattner hybrid is engineered to be marine/cool/wet climate happy, which is why it's well suited to our wine islands. Here, ripe pear, white peach and citrus streams across a juicy, off-dry palate. The 21 g/l RS is handled easily, leaving a cushion of orchard pear and yellow apples and pink grapefruit acidity behind, as well as a tidy 12% alcohol. Pure, bright, juicy and lively - exactly what this fringe region should focus on.Tasted: 17 May 2016Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
