Spierhead Riesling GFV Saddle Block 2015
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaPerfumed lime blossoms, cold cream and a cut of bitter key lime peel pervade this single block, single vineyard riesling, sourced from Kelowna's Gentleman Farmer Vineyard. Five months in stainless has kept a clean, almost clinical picture of the white peach, melon and green apple fruit. A bump of sugar sticks out, leaving this vintage currently in the sweet and sour vein.
