Culmina Family Estate Dilemma 2014

Golden Mile Bench, Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaSoft, round, buttery, baked apple nose with bits of honey, smoke and lees. The attack is soft, warm and round with spicy, baked apple, vanilla and citrus rind in the back end. Again, the style is more old-school California than Burgundy but not quite as fat as the 2014 and with better lees. Time in the bottle is recommended here. Made for rich, seafood dishes including Dungeness crab and lobster or veal chops in a creamy mushroom sauce.Tasted: 18 July 2016Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
