Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis wine continues to cling to its youth at the three and half year mark. The nose is a mix of spice and rich cassis fruit with a stony savoury undercurrent. Toasted oak and more powerful fruit hits the palate and persists through the warm spicy, somewhat bitter finish. This guy needs time or some roasted meat to slice into the tannins and heft that await you.
