Rocky Creek Robin's Rosé 2015

Cowichan Valley, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, CanadaWeighty in both hue (dark pink) and packaging (a very hefty frosted bottle), this pinot noir rosé is from two Cowichan vineyards and vines ranging from 6-20 years in age. Dry and medium bodied, with tart rhubarb, cranberry juice and light herbal leafiness. Green stem lurks in the background, mostly apparent on the short, snappy finish. The rear label informs that this is "manly but sophisticated" and contains only 74 calories / 4 ounce glass : 0 guilt.Tasted: 07 July 2016Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
