Haywire Gamay Noir Rosé Secrest Mountain Vineyard 2015

Summerland Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaPale orange pink, this earthy, salty gamay rosé is from the spectacular Secrest Mountain site outside of Oliver. Twelve hours skin contact after destemming, this is pressed straight to concrete for wild yeast fermentation and six months aging. An earthy, wild herb nose carries Bing cherry, salts and wild strawberries along a slight slick of lees. Vibrant acidity finishes crunchy and quenching. A beauty, and one I expect to do well with some age. #GoGamayGoTasted: 01 August 2016Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
