Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaTake a lush grape like viognier and match with the hot 2015 vintage and you land on this uber-rich white wine, thick with both floral fragrance and creamy body. Fleshy apricot and baked peach is lined with a thick layer of creamy lees and spliced with lime pith bitterness. You can feel the heat on the finish. One glass of this 15 percent alcohol wine is enough on its own, but paired with a protein-laden food, this could suit. Grapes from their Osoyoos' Perfect Hedge vineyard was split between stainless, French oak and concrete eggs, adding more expansion to the palate.
