Meyer Chardonnay 2015

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe Meyer Okanagan chardonnay is a mix of estate fruit from McLean Creek Road in Okanagan Falls and Old Main Road in Naramata. The wine goes through a natural, partial malolactic fermentation and spends about five months on its fine lees. The style is minimalist, helped by the use of older wood, yielding classic Okanagan tree fruit aromas with fairly ripe peach fruit flavours. As rich as we have seen this wine, although the finish is fresh and stony with a light mineral undercurrent. There is some complexity too. Ready to drink. Try this with fresh halibut and a fruit salsa.Tasted: 09 August 2016Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
