Meyer Family Vineyards Chardonnay Tribute Series - Art and Viv Meyer Old Main Road Vineyard 2014

Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe fruit was hand harvested October 30th at 24 brix from the sixteen-year-old, silty/clay loamy Naramata-based Old Main Road Vineyard that faces north. Only the finest, purest free run juice is used here. The attack is light and juicy with rich, nutty, leesy, honeyed-peach fruit flavours. The palate is similar with soft, round, almost sweet fruit flavours, no doubt attributed to the vintage. Still after all that there is freshness and length that keeps you coming back to the glass and finishing the bottle. Stylish and fun to drink now. The wine spends 11 months in 22 percent new French oak sans battonage. The Tribute Series is dedicated to Canadians that have been outstanding in their field. In 2014 Art and Viv Meyer were honoured as parents, grandparents and community workers.Tasted: 09 August 2016Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
