British Columbia, CanadaRanch Hand Red comes off the Monte Creek Ranch in the south Thompson Valley. The mix of grapes is decidedly different than the BC norm at 59/23/10/8 of marquette/frontenac/cabernet sauvignon/merlot. The attack is fresh and lively with prominent but not overbearing acidity keeping it all fresh. It's an interesting mix of red and black fruit matching its floral, cherry/berry, brown spice flavours.
