Sperling Vin Gris of Pinot Noir 2014
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaPouring the palest peach, nearly clear hue. Whole cluster press, wild ferment, full MLF and into puncheons for twelve months, this is Anne Sperling's adventurous, natural wine bent showing through, and it works beautifully. The savoury, salty nose lures and leads to an earthy, savoury, lees-lined palate, with cracked stone and fine grip on the finish.
