British Columbia, CanadaSuper rich in oak, fruit and body, this dense full red is a 50/50 blend of merlot and cabernet franc sourced from the southern Okanagan. Vanilla stewed blackberries, black plums and thick cassis is scented with cloves and cinnamon. Tannins are strident and firm, though sanded around the edges to a clipped finish. Young and powerful, this is best served now with roast beef or beef, or allowed a year or two to relax in the cellar.
