JoieFarm PTG 2014

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaPTG references Passe-Tout-Grains and the Burgundian bent of winemaker/owner Heidi Noble who blends four clones of pinot noir from Penticton and Naramata with Naramata Bench gamay. Juicy and lively, this medium-boded red is anchored with black cherry and raspberry, streaked with green, earthy forest notes and seasoned with fine red florals and smoked cinnamon bark. Cocoa-clad tannins hem in the pure-fruited core, and are built upon ten months on gross lees in a variety of barriques, puncheons and one 25hl cask. Drink now with grilled sausages or salmon steaks. Simple but delicious style.Tasted: 26 September 2016Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Treve RingPrices:
