Maculan Brentino Merlot - Cabernet Sauvignon 2013
Veneto, ItalyOld school leafy/cassis, cabernet nose. The attack is firm with bright acidity that seems to lift the earthy, leafy, cranberry flavours. The palate is elegant but the acidity keeps puckered up through the finish. A big piece of roasted meat is the answer here to tame the acidity and youthful notes in this red.
