Hardy's Eileen Hardy Chardonnay 2010

Tasmania - Yarra Valley, AustraliaAt six years old, the 2010 Eileen Hardy has all the hallmarks of a flagship label. Even better, it is rare wine that is only made in top years and that’s the case with Eileen. The fruit is a hipster blend of cool Tasmanian fruit (72 percent) and equally beguiling Yarra Valley blocks (28 percent). The nose is rich and open with toasted hazelnuts, vanilla and creamy nutty characters. The fruit is juicy with pear undertones bolstered by mineral citrus notes and great texture. A dry, toasty nutty style with a rich, complex, aftertaste that connoisseurs will appreciate. Try this with lobster, halibut or even filet mignon.Tasted: 17 October 2016Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
