Yalumba Barossa Patchwork Shiraz 2013

Barossa Valley, South Australia, AustraliaPatchwork is a collection of Barossa sites both warm and cool that have been under the purvey of Yalumba for most of the last 165 years. The colour is predictably black, the nose a rich mix of dark, sweet black fruits with a licorice underbelly. There’s a bit of the sweet and sour here that finishes soft and silky with spicy, minty sweet fruit and some acidity pushing in through the back end. Ready to drink. Best with grilled meats.Tasted: 24 October 2016Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
