Mission Hill Reserve Pinot Gris 2015

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaMission Hill's "Reserve" tier is a selection of parcels and barrels, and in 2015 was sourced from Black Sage Bench (95 percent) with a splash from their Naramata Ranch vineyards. This was partially fermented in French oak, where it aged for five months. Richer and full-bodied, with desert pear, crab apple, bitter lemon and crunchy Asian pear acidity, accented with apricot pit bitterness before a sour, warm finish. At this early stage, the oak and lees overrides the whole, though with time it should come together.Tasted: 04 January 2017Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
