Cassini Cellars Chardonnay Bella Vineyard 2013

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe 2013 growing season was made for chardonnay on the Golden Mile Bench. The vines are 22 years old at Bella Vineyards, and a mix of two clones. The style is friendly with just enough acidity to balance the ripe fruit, in this case red apples and peaches with a touch of citrus underneath. The wine is aged in new French and American barrels, the later lending it a slightly more open character with bits of vanilla and spice. It is ready to drink.Tasted: 15 February 2017Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
