Puemo, Valle del Cachapoal, Valle del Rapel, Region del Valle Central, ChileThis is a blockbuster style merlot that makes the most of its ripe fruit and savoury undercurrents. The nose is aromatic with pure, ripe plum and bits of savoury bay leaf throughout. The palate mixes more bay leaf, and dense rich plummy fruit flecked with chocolate and spice. The finish is packed full of dense sweet tannins that finish glossy and well, merlot-like. Really well done for the price and perfect for any grilled meat course.
